Patrick is an epidemiologist and health data scientist with expertise in using routinely collected health data for causal inference. His research focuses on using electronic health record data to study the comparative clinical and cost-effectiveness of treatments for non-communicable diseases.

He completed his PhD and MSc in epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), and his BSc in pharmacology and economics at McGill University in Montréal, Canada. He is currently an assistant professor at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
